Dr. Kate McCann is a certified lifestyle medicine physician and creator of the social media project “Emdoc Heath”.
Dr. McCann brings a modern, affordable, and accessible model of private healthcare to Ireland: dedicated lifestyle medicine, delivered as one-on-one consultations or as group consultations. Lifestyle medicine is evidence-based prevention and management of chronic disease, which includes restorative sleep, maintaining a healthy weight, positive psychology, social connections, and smoking cessation. Evidence-based care, trust, and the doctor-patient relationship are core values in her practice.
Dr. McCann is a Member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine and the British Society for Lifestyle Medicine. She has an international diploma in lifestyle medicine and certification from The Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education (SCOPE). In 2018, Dr. McCann created the social media project now titled “Emdoc Health” with the goal of promoting health education and health literacy for families.
