“Each individual is unique and has different needs- I use a humanistic person-centred approach as the foundation of my practice and provide a confidential, accepting, and non- judgmental space. I believe that every client is an expert in their own life. In my practice, I integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema, Humanistic and Mindless Based to adapt to the varying needs of my clients.
A goal of therapy is for the client to gain clarity through the exploration of alternative perspectives. Insights can be gained when clients understand how feelings, experiences and behaviours shape their world and this facilitates positive change. I greatly value the creation of a genuine therapeutic relationship where the client feels heard, safe and secure, as this provides the foundation for the work of therapy and supports them as they move towards potential growth.”
